Quis custodiet ipsos custodes
Well it stopped raining today so i finally got out and fitted my2" lift kit i supose the next job will be to make up longer brake hoses
Been tidying / cleaning out my workshop / storage unit
Found a rat!
Seemingly constant rain lately has made it very damp so lots of cardboard boxes have been burnt
Might be on the way to clearing enough space to actually do some work in there
Not quite today, but a couple of days ago...
My name is Rob and I have a Land Rover problem!

Just couldn't resist buying it as (another) 'temporary' vehicle while my long term ones receive some TLC ... EaRL the 90 might get a few things sorted & put back on the road OR she might get the bigger rebuild I've been threatening for a while

Future plan for this one is to become the new donor for my MOD / Police escort Armoured Rangey chassis - only ~70K miles on her
I can therefore break the two wrecks I have been sitting on up for that project till now

14" steering wheel. Ever since fitting D2 seats my thighs and knees were barely an inch away from the original and it was a squeeze to get in. The adapter also pushes the wheel up and away from my knees as I am tallish at 6'. Also received in the mail a slave central locking solenoid for the rear door. Plans for this year are an ashcroft locker in the rear and an aluminium skid plate for under the transmission. I'm also fabricating a replacement xmember of 1/4 " thick 4" diameter steel pipe after bending it it on my last trip to sicily last December.
No road too rough. No job too tough. No hill too steep. No ditch too Deep
Rob, that Rangie looks brilliant. Bit up market though eh?
14" steering wheel sounds interesting

I bought some bushes. I hate doing bushes but at least the new ones are poly so will go in easyish.

No because its closed cell meens it does not hold water . It comes in 2.5m x 1.5m rolls . Says its for gym and garage floors . Its about 6mm thick so i thought it would be ideal for sound proofing mats . £19.99 a roll from a discount home shop on clifton moor .
Cheep and it works
Now Dennis 2 has gone
I can spend some money on Gordon; so just picked up a OEM set of HD springs for the rear and standard for the front. Nw drivers door seal and a set of lower door seals. Its a start anyway. Then need a set of shoes
