A one-off Ferrari-inspired Overland Defender has gone on sale, with a number of Italian touches incorporated into the British Icon.

The 2015 model stands as one of the latest Defenders ever built, and following a build programme led by Overland, remains one of the most unique offerings yet.

Beyond the aesthetics, Overland have remapped the 2.2-litre turbo diesel powerunit to help produce 225bhp, while an upgraded intercooler has been installed to cope with all the extra grunt. Further back lies a new de cat sports exhaust, an uprated anti-roll bar, custom Eibach springs and adjustable Blistein suspension. On the tech front, a carbon-dipped centre console comes complete with a cockpit ignition switch, push button start, and an Alpine sound system with Bluetooth capability and audio streaming.Other highlights of the car include 20" Manta Sport alloys finished in Santorini Black, a front and rear RDX LED white light lit, LED headlight conversion with ‘halo’ spot lights, 3mm black chequer plate, Overland 3D lettering in black, and a Momo Trek R steering wheel trimmed in Crema-tinged leather.
