LAND ROVER INSURANCE CASE STUDY

LAND ROVER INSURANCE CASE STUDY

by Louise Woodhams, 9th December 2016

This is the first in a series of four articles about Land Rover owners who have decided to insure them with Sureterm Direct, the 4x4 specialists.

Like a lot of people who are new to owning a Land Rover, I used to shop around for my 4x4 insurance but I quickly saw the benefit in using a specialist 4x4 insurance providers as they have more experience and knowledge of the market and can also specifically cater for my needs.

I’ve owned 14 Land Rovers over the past 21 years and for the last few years I have insured two of them, a 300Tdi Discovery and a Td5 Discovery, with Sureterm Direct. I was so impressed with their service and competitive prices that I stayed with them for three years, until I had to sell my Td5.

My 4x4s are expected to work hard, either by towing a trailer with another Landy on the back, my latest restoration project, or going greenlaning, so I needed a policy that allowed me to do everything I wanted but at a competitive price.

That’s exactly what I got with Sureterm – for me the classic policy is around £80 fully comprehensive for a second vehicle with as much as a 5,000 mileage allowance. Another huge bonus for me was being able to cover modifications easily as let’s face it most Land Rovers in the hands of enthusiasts are modified in one way or another!

I would have no qualms recommending Sureterm, for me it’s a specialist who I have every faith in.
