Apply now to join Land Rover Experience Eastnor and the Malvern Rotary Club on their next outing in the Malvern Hills in a Discovery 4.
Land Rover Experience Eastnor recently partnered with the Malvern Rotary Club to take nine less able members of the local community to the summit of the Malvern Hills in a Discovery and realise one of their lifelong dreams.
The Discoverys’ all-terrain capability was perfectly suited to the challenging terrain while its panoramic roof allowed guests take in the magnificent views of the 1395ft climb to the top of the famous range of hills that span three counties.
On of the beneficiaries of this great initiative was the wheelchair bound Jannah Armstrong, who attended the day with her mum Liz. "Jannah is realising her dreams one by one, now with the help of Land Rover she's reached the top of Malvern Hills; a dream she's had since childhood. When teams get together it's amazing what can be achieved,” said Liz.
Land Rover has been using the Eastnor Estate on the eastern end of the Malvern Hills for over 50 years and so to be able to use the Discoverys for this great project is pretty much what the Land Rover Experience is all about.
This specific initiative contributes to Land Rover's Global CSR Programme which is hoping to make a positive impact on the lives of 12 million people by 2020.
Malvern Rotary Club will be inviting applications from suitable candidates to join one of two outings later in the year, for more details see www.malvernrotaryevents.org
